The Flying Spaghetti Monster in Tennessee

Several years ago, Crossville, Tennessee had a display of some religious artifacts, and other symbols, that were displayed on the Courthouse lawn. One of those appearing was the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Apparently most of the local people took it with a sense of humor.

And its appearance made national news.

Alas, his Noodley Appendage is no longer on display.

But Cookeville, TN has a giant bikini-wearing pink elephant on water skis.

I see the Statue Of Liberty in your pic. Very recently, the Post Office got sued because they made a Statue O Liberty Stamp, but they used the Vegas statue instead of the real one. Apparently, the Vegas statue is "sexier" and you can tell the difference.

http://itlovesyou.blogspot.com/ still exists. Seems Crossville banned all statues from the courthouse lawn in 2008.
