Most Lewd-Sounding Town Names in Each State
American place names can be very curious; but they rarely become an occasion for blushing. Still, there is the odd place here and there that amuses, perplexes, or shocks unexpectedly. Here's a little map calling attention to the most lewd-sounding town map in each state.
Which one is your favorite? I admit that Wankers Corner, OR does it for me.
I was not aware that there was a different meaning of the word cooter besides that of a type of turtle.
Everybody knows about Intercourse, Pennsylvania. Less widely known is the town of Paradise, which is a mere six minutes away from Intercourse. Truly.

We used to joke that Blue Bell, PA was really BlueBalls, PA. It's about 45 miles from Intercourse.

There's a folksinger-songwriter named David Forster who wrote a song about lewd city names in Massachusetts called "Entering Marion". There are versions on YouTube if anyone wants to look.
