Another Day of the Locust

We got a double dose of bad news, The big one, of course, is Donald Trump getting the Republican nomination for President of the United States. Guys, how could you? Have you completely turned away from the Constitution and the ideal of limited government? He's sounding like a possible strong man, playing fast and loose with our Constitution and the idea of checks and balances in government. I am totally scared. A bowel-emptying scared. This, on top of the recent shootings, makes for a bad situation. And this guy admires Vladimir Putin? Oh my God!

And to pile on the miseries, now David Duke, that former Klan leader, has announced his candidacy for the Senate from Louisiana. True, Louisiana has sent some doozies in the past, but this is taking it up a few notches. I can't do much about my beloved Louisiana, except pray.

Time to resurrect an old bumper sticker from  the past:

And not lose heart. After all, I'm an American girl!

Or maybe down a few notches.

The next few months are going to be like a bad dream unfolding into reality.

  3. Trump is a bloviating orang-utan. My advice to Hilldog is to run a 100% negative campaign that will provoke Trump into a sexist insult about her coochie. I don't believe a candidate can get elected president after mentioning his opponent's coochie.

  4. When I first heard that this fascist bully was running for President, I was worried because this narcissist can be charming and knows what to say to the uneducated masses...just like Hitler did. Hitler was popular in the States and Canada because my dad remembered this quite well. I hope he won't get in because many people don't like Hillary plus many don't want a woman in the office. With Munich, Turkey, Nice and Putin poking the West with a stick makes me very worried.

    Guffaw-Out-Loud!
It's 119 years since Grover Cleveland left office and suddenly -- NOW! -- we're going to say that our vote is contingent upon a candidate upholding the Constitution with its ideal of limited government and checks and balances?

[:o) Yeah, let's close that barn door now that the animals have all escaped and died of old age. After Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, CIA-The-Father, Bill "If it moves, screw it!" Clinton, Father-CIA's Idiot-Son, and Barack Oliar, now, NOW! we're gonna worry about the Constitution?!?!

When Trump said, "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters", he was probably right. Because most people voting for Trump know that he'd still have a long, Long, LONG way to go before he was ever even in shouting distance of Bill & Hellary's kill ratio:

    Bill & Hill's Body Count . . .

    Walter Asks . . .
